Sesi Pembentangan

11/12/2013 is public holiday but it also was our Presentation Day for our Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Access. The topic of my group of our Microsoft Powerpoint is Access.

Before the presentation, all of our group members worked so hard to prepare it especially Yen Yi and Aweyn. We took our video for the presentation for three times. At first, the video taken is no good and we decided to retake it again. After we asked from Encik Azzwan about our powerpoint and video before one day of our presentation , we retook the video again because there were many mistakes.I still remember we were so rush on that time especially my leader Yen Yi.We retook the video at FSSK.After that,Yen Yi did the video part and she even didnt sleep well on that day because of the video.Thank you Yen Yi.You are really responsible and hardworking.

On the presentation day,we all were very tired because didnt sleep well at night.Even though we had a little bit nervous on that day but we already tried our best in our presentation.I am so glad about all this. Thanks all ! We did a great job !

The presentation from other group also very interesting especially the video part which was the most interesting part for us.

Maybe I was too tired and I felt very sleepy and tired in the end of the presentation.
Thanks Sir for willing spend your time with us.We all knew you're tired too.

Thank you.

A Person

A person that I impressed a lot is Steve Jobs who was the chairman and CEO of Apple Inc.

Here are 25 quotes from him that inspiring me a lot..

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.
When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through.
Things don’t have to change the world to be important.
If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Details matter, it’s worth waiting to get it right.
That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harde
r than complex. You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.
If you don’t love something, you’re not going to go the extra mile, work the extra weekend, challenge the status quo as much.
You’ve baked a really lovely cake, but then you’ve used dog shit for frosting.
The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again — less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.
Sometimes life is going to hit you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith.
If you keep your eye on the profit, you’re going to skimp on the product. But if you focus on making really great products, then the profits will follow.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.
Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do.
We’re here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise why else even be here?
But innovation comes from people meeting up in the hallways or calling each other at 10:30 at night with a new idea, or because they realized something that shoots holes in how we’ve been thinking about a problem.
If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time.
Let’s go invent tomorrow instead of worrying about what happened yesterday.
Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
Here’s to the crazy ones — the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

Appreciation

The definition of appreciation is the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.

Let me share a story about the appreciation. This is a powerful message in our modern society .We seemed to have lost our bearing and our sense of direction.

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.

He passed the first interview, the director did the last interview, made the last decision.

The director discovered from the CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, never had a year when he did not score.

The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" the youth answered "none".

The director asked, " Was it your father who paid for your school fees?" The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.

The director asked, " Where did your mother work?" The youth answered, "My mother worked as clothes cleaner. The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

The director asked, " Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?" The youth answered, "Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, "I have a request. When you go back today, go and clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.*

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.

After finishing the cleaning of his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, asked: " Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered, " I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'

The Director asked, " please tell me your feelings."

The youth said, Number 1, I know now what is appreciation. Without my mother, there would not the successful me today. Number 2, by working together and helping my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done. Number 3, I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.

The director said, " This is what I am looking for to be my manager.
I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired.

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.
A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop "entitlement mentality" and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel sense of achievement. He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying the kid instead?*

You can let your kid live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

So please be appreciate all the time. The things you have may be others dont.

Lab Test 1

20/11/2013 ( Wednesday ) is our Lab Test 1.

I am the one who not good in computer. Before the lab test,I was trying so hard to "study" that. What I felt touching a lot is my friends all were willing to help me to prepare this lab test especially my roommate and my my coursemate :D I still remember Yen Yi even stayed till the late night in my room just because she want taught me until I understand. My burden relieved after she taught me.My roommate too, taught me before the lab test.Thank you !

But during my lab test,I dont know what happened to my computer or me?I really regret the most because didnt bring my laptop for my lab test 1.When i am doing the mail merge,i put my address, then my microsoft word just like "jam",cant function, cant click any button even cant close it.When I try to open microsoft excel,it also cant be open too ! I admit I really nervous on that time because worry about I cant pass up my answer. After asking Encik Azzwan,I shut down my computer and reopen it,luckily I already save the file,if nt,I need to redo it again within the limited time !
When I reopen my computer,I tried again to do my mailmerge for the address part. But it also "jam" ! So I made a decision, that is give up the address part,or else i cant open my excel and cant continue to do my powerpoint as well.
The lesson is : Next time I will bring my own laptop for my test. :(

Marriage

Love at first sight is easy to understand; it’s when two people have been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle. ~Amy Bloom

Marriage? What is the difinition of marriage?Marriage is the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law,by which they become husband and wife.

How to maintain a good, happy and successfull marriage life? Here's are some tips...
1.You need to always remind yourself  you love him/her.
2.Always be interested in and share each other's world.
3.Always be grateful that you have a wonderful and perfect him/her.
4.Help each other.
5.Hang out together during the free time or do some interesting and favourite activities together.
6.Always be there to support him/her during the hard or sad moments.
You need to always maintain a very good marriage life till the end of your life.If not, your children will be affected.Maybe in the future your children will hate you because of their bad childhood memories. So,take marriage as serious,or else everyone around you even including youself will be suffer all the time.Try to think back,we want a happy and relax lifestyle but not a stressful lifestyle.

Honesty in relationship

Honesty in relatiotionship is a very vital to every single human in the world.Without honesty, your life will be mess up terribly because you always need to lie everyone even yourself.Maybe sometimes you cant recognize who you really are when you are lying. So be honest in every relationship including relationship with yourself. It will be your master key in your life. There are two ways from me to be honest in our relationship.

Firstly, you need to agree that honesty is a priority. This is a very important way to have honesty in evry single relationship. If you cannot agree that you should make an effort to tell the truth to one another, perhaps you have bigger fish to fry than simple honesty.Deciding that you want to have open but kind communication is an incredibly important step in establishing honesty ground rules.

Secondly, you need to avoid from lying as well.Lying is an offensive action when you dont tell the truth.Of course,we probably have lied in the past.We are human beings and we are not perfect. However,at the same time,it's important we at least try to prevent those mistakes from happening in the first place.Lying is not only painful to you,but everybody around you as well. So,dont try to lie to others if you want a truly and honesty in your relationship.

Be honest to your parents, your family, your friends, the people you live with, the people you love and ....yourself......

Responsibilities

Everyone does have their responsibilities.Me too.My responsibilities are including I’m as a children,,as a friend,as a sister,as a student and so on.What I want to focus on my blog today is my responsibility as a children. As everyone know that parents are the most important people living in our life.Without them we are nothing. They sacrifice for us with a lot of things but they never ask us to pay back, this is just because we are their lovely CHILDREN.How special are we to them. They work hard till the late night to earn money just because they want to give us the better things and to have a better life.We need to appreciate it every moments no matter what. The main responsibility from us as a child to them is to respect them.Respect is a vital and it’s  special. No matter how hard we go through or how many homeworks or works we need to do in our daily life, don’t forget to respect them. But many people do not take it seriously, when their parents call them when they are doing their works, they will feel very annoying and use the impolite words to answer them.Do you know how will they feel? Please remember when we are young or childhood, they still make jokes with us,talk to us smoothly, accompany us when we are sad after they finish their busy works in the office. They always love us no matter how the situation is.There are just a few minutes, please answer their questions and talk to them smoothly and respectly when you are in phone and don’t forget to concern them.Or try to imagine that if one day when you are calling to your son or daughter when you are boring in home, but they use the rude words to answer you even scold you because of your bothering, what is your feeling? It’s hurt.So please remember that without our “hero” parents,we are nothing. For them,we are the special gift from God.They love us so much and I love my parents so much too.As deep as the sea. They are the most important people in my life.

Relationship before marriage

Marriage is about compromise, meaning the art of negotiation is an essential skill. Our decision-making model is vital because it indicates how egalitarian our relationship is.Marriage is the proposal, the ring and, of course, all the planning for the big day. But getting married isn't really about the wedding day, it's about the quality of the marriage that follows. So how do you get started on the right foot? There are some  important issues couples need to discuss before getting hitched.

At first,it’s about Decision-making model. You need to make sure your partner agrees with you about how an ideal relationship should work. Sharing important decisions and deciding together who should decide what takes strong listening, negotiating and problem-solving skills. You may not be perfect at it, but you need to know what you're working toward.

Secondly,it’s about Chore and task-sharing. Do you plan to take care of the laundry, while your man takes responsibility for outdoor tasks like mowing the lawn? Don't just assume you know how these responsibilities will be divvied up. Talk about them.Roles in relationships have been changing for the past few decades, and gender roles differ from one family to another.Talking about it before marriage can give you a foundation on which to build later discussions if and when you find you aren't happy with the status quo.

Thirdly,it’s about  Children. Do you both want children? If so, how many? And once you've got your little brood, how do you intend to raise them? While you might assume that children are an obvious part of a marriage, your partner may feel differently. This is a very important issue and you need to take it seriously.

Apart from that,it’s about Careers.Career paths often change over time, so you want to know that your partner is going to respect your need to make decisions about yours with his input and respect, and expect your input on his.Look for a flexible, sharing and respectful attitude.

Lastly,it’s about Time together and apart.Do you envision yourself spending Saturday nights snuggling with your honey on the couch, watching movies and enjoying quality time together? Your partner may have a different idea about how to spend Saturday nights. Discuss these things and don't fall into the trap of making assumptions about your partner's preferences. This can lead to unnecessary disappointment.

Seven weeks in UKM

Until today,i been UKM here already 47 days, around seven weeks.

In this seven weeks i went through a lot of things including happiness, sadness and so on.What I sad for is about changing the faculty.I didnt success to get the course that I want. But now I accept it and handle it well. And actually I need to appreciate a lot because I can study here,The National University of Malaysia.I always proud of this.Because not everyone can get in here, one of the famous university in Malaysia. However,I feel very happy and enjoy after I been here this few weeks and I can get used the life here already compare to the time I just came here.In UKM,I make many friends here. They are very friendly, kind, and always making some jokes to cheer me up when I am down especially after I realised that I didnt success to change my faculty. They also always share their things with me.For example, during the holiday of Perayaan Hari Raya Haji, they all went back to their hometown but I didnt because my hometown,Sarawak is very far and I will be very rush if I go back. After they all came back from their hometown after the holiday, they brought back many local food to me.They all know that my favourite food is sweet food so they brought many sweet food to me especially my roommate.I feel very touch and warm. They always take very good care to me.Apart from that, when i face problems, they all lend their hands to me,always helping me,adviced me,supporting me and cheer me up.I also very appreciated about there are many kind, helpful seniors here.Actually when i applied changing faculty, there are a senior helped me a lot.He helped me to do the procedures and run here run there.I really thank him so much. There are also many helpful seniors here. They helped us,all the juniors.Thank you !

Kepentingan Elektrik

Terima kasih.
